Solomon Airlines schedules next repatriation flights from Vanuatu and the Philippines to Solomon Islands

Following Solomon Islands Government approval and subject to foreign regulatory approval, Solomon Airlines has scheduled the next repatriation flights from Vanuatu and the Philippines to Solomon Islands.
The repatriation flights are planned to operate as follows:
HONIARA-PORT VILA-HONIARA – 7 DECEMBER
On 7 December, Flight IE631 will depart Honiara at 11.30am arriving in Port Vila at 1.30pm. Flight IE632 will then depart from Port Vila at 2.15pm arriving in Honiara at 4.15pm.
Passengers are unable to be accepted into Port Vila due to Vanuatu Government restrictions. As the Port Vila to Honiara sector is a Government managed repatriation flight, passengers seeking to travel on this service should contact their nearest Solomon Islands Government embassy or mission for further details.
All passengers boarding in Port Vila will have been required to take a negative COVID-19 test in the days before the flight. They will only be allowed to board the aircraft if the test result is negative.
On arrival in the Solomon Islands, all travellers will undergo a mandatory, minimum 14-day quarantine period and be subject to COVID-19 testing during that period. All COVID-19 test results must be negative before individuals can be released from quarantine.
HONIARA-BIAK-MANILA - 8 DECEMBER
On 8 December, Flight IE633 Honiara-Manila will depart Honiara at 10.00am arriving in Biak at 11.50am for a fuel stop only, before re-departing at 12.50pm arriving in Manila at 3.10pm.
This flight is open for tentative bookings only by returning citizens of The Philippines. Bookings can be made via phone or email with Solomon Airlines Sales Offices in Point Cruz (+677 20152 or email [email protected]) or Brisbane (+61 7 3860 5883 or email [email protected]).
MANILA-BIAK-HONIARA - 9 DECEMBER
The following day 9 December, Flight IE634 Manila-Honiara will depart Manila at 7.15am arriving in Biak at 11.35am for a fuel stop only, before re-departing at 12.35pm arriving in Honiara at 6.20pm.
As this is a Solomon Islands Government managed repatriation charter, passengers seeking to travel on this flight should contact their nearest Solomon Islands Government embassy or mission for further details.
All passengers for this service will be required to have taken three COVID-19 tests in the 21 days before the flight. They will only be allowed to board the aircraft if all three test results are negative.
On arrival in the Solomon Islands, all travellers will undergo a mandatory, minimum 21-day quarantine period and multiple further COVID-19 tests. All COVID-19 test results must be negative before individuals can be released from quarantine.
All Solomon Airlines flights comply fully with the COVID-19 regulations of the relevant countries. Solomon Airlines crew onboard the airline’s A320 aircraft wear facemasks and gloves for the duration of service and catering is minimal to reduce contact between passengers and crew.
