Solomon Airlines has confirmed two new passenger flights between Tarawa and Brisbane departing during the month of May are now available, subject to Government approvals.

- Flight IE691 will depart on Sunday 23 May, leaving from Tarawa at 11:00am, and arriving in Brisbane 2:00pm.
Passengers intending to book must have a visa to enter Australia or a transit visa and another flight departure within 72 hours of arrival. Passengers who are transiting in Australia within 8 hours to another country, may not require a visa but will need to advise of their connecting flight at the time of booking.
The airline urges all transit passengers to check the Australian Government website to confirm if a transit visa is needed and to check with their connecting airline or country of final destination for all required testing and documentation, as this will be required upon check-in in Tarawa.
The Australian Government requires that all passengers entering Australia have Government-issued proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a Digital Passenger Declaration completed within 72 hours prior to departure.
