Posted on March 15, 2022 at 09:00 AM in General News

With Solomon Islands Government approval and subject to Fiji regulatory approval, Solomon Airlines has scheduled a second repatriation flight for 2022, to operate between Nadi and Honiara on Wednesday 30 March.

Flight IE672 will depart Honiara at 9:00am, arriving in Nadi at 1:00pm Fiji local time.

This flight is open to public sale for those who meet special conditions.

As Solomon Islands is a non-Travel Partner country, all passengers travelling Honiara to Nadi are required to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, have proof of a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) result taken within 24 hours prior to departure and confirmation of a 14 day stay in a Fiji Managed Quarantine hotel.

Non-Fiji citizens will additionally require Fiji Government pre-approval and valid medical insurance.

Travellers can refer to the Fiji Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport website for details on the approval process.

Returning Flight IE673 will depart Nadi at 2:00pm Fiji time, arriving in Honiara at 4:00pm Solomon Islands time.

As this flight is a Government managed repatriation charter, and passengers must be pre-approved for travel, those seeking to fly from Nadi to Honiara should contact Solomon Islands High Commission in Suva.

On arrival in the Solomon Islands, all travellers will undergo a mandatory quarantine period and they will be subject to further COVID-19 testing during that period. All COVID-19 test results must be negative before individuals can be released from quarantine.

All Solomon Airlines flights comply fully with the COVID-19 regulations of the relevant countries.
