Solomon Airlines has announced the next phase of its ‘Helpful Holidays’ programme adding two more destinations, Fera and Kagau, and continuing to offer up to 50% off regular accommodation rates combined with flights from Honiara to Munda, Gizo, Seghe, Marau and Suavanao for stays up to 7 nights.

The Helpful Holidays package deals are proving popular across Solomon Islands as more people take advantage of the discounted deals to a wide range of holiday destinations. 

The latest revision of Solomon Airlines Helpful Holidays campaign includes special holiday package deals and experiences with programme partners Dive Gizo and Dive Munda, during selected dates in December, January, and February across a choice of 20 accommodation partners and 7 destinations.

Colin Sigimanu, Manager Commercial for Solomon Airlines, said the airline has adjusted its regular schedule to accommodate the short break holiday packages.

“To encourage long weekend stays, we have reorganised our schedule, including recently Kagau, and increasing the number of Friday and Monday flight options to and from Helpful Holidays destinations.

“As we continually expand the program to support our tourism partners, we have applied the specials to travel dates through to February, to encourage travel on either side of the Christmas and New Year peak periods, when our operators need most support,” he said.

“We are encouraging travellers to discover new destinations such as Kagau and Fera and try out new accommodation and tourism activities across the destinations.

“There are so many great experiences on offer that we suggest people do a little research before they choose their holiday. Many of our accommodation partners are offering specials right through the Christmas and New Year period, so don’t hesitate to contact our local tourism operators, to learn about what they are offering and activities available.” he added.

Helpful Holidays are subject to availability and dates and conditions vary by operator. Accommodation payments are made directly to the accommodation operators. Solomon Airlines Sales Office will help book the Helpful Holidays special airfare and contact accommodation operators to assist arrangements for customers as part of the Helpful Holidays package arrangements.
